Richards Avenue Partners, LLC
represents the union of two of Fairfield County's most esteemed real estate
developers. The Spinnaker Companies and the Greyrock Companies joined efforts to draw
upon their individual expertise in developing StoneWood Condominium. The
result is a configuration that sets a new standard for living and design
in Norwalk.
Clayton Fowler is the CEO and founding partner of The Spinnaker Companies. Mr. Fowler has built over 1,200 homes in Connecticut since 1983 ranging from apartments to luxury single-family homes. Featured properties in Norwalk include Mallard's Landing condominiums, the R&G Corset Factory apartments, and the recently completed Sono Lofts and Loft 5 condominiums. Mr. Fowler is Chairman of the Town of Pound Ridge Planning Board, and is a Director of the Housing Development Fund, Norwalk Chamber of Commerce, Real Estate Finance Association, and a Member of the Urban Land Institute. In addition, he is a Trustee of the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School and a member of its Executive Committee.
Spinnaker is the lead developer in South Norwalk's Reed Putnam Urban renewal project with the complete renovation of the Lock Building, and the development of the Maritime Garage and its Lofts. Spinnaker has also renovated the Roodner Building, Sono Court, The Brewhouse, and the Norwalk Museum. The Spinnaker Companies have received numerous accolades including the prestigious HOBI and Pride in Norwalk awards as well as NAHB Home and Project of the Year.

Jerry Effren is a principal and founding member of the Greyrock Companies. Mr. Effren has built over 500 homes in Connecticut since 1979 ranging in size from 1,200 to 12,000 sq. ft.. Previous Norwalk area developments include New Canaan Way and Linden Heights. Currently, Greyrock is developing Oysterbend condominium and marina on the Norwalk River. Mr. Effren has served as past president of the Stamford, Fairfield County, and Connecticut Home Builders Associations. He continues to serve as a National Director of the National Home Builders Association; a post that he has held since 1996. Mr. Effren also serves on the Board of Directors for the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce and Waterbury Youth Services. He is a licensed real estate broker in Connecticut since 1978.
